Roddy The Rooster is always first to rise in the morning, but not usually with a bonk to his beak.

Roddy rubbed his head and climbed to the roof of his barn to give his familar morning wake-up call.

Cassie's Big Adventure

The farmer's big red truck was parked in the middle of the barnyard and Cassie The Carpetsnake was curled up on the back tray of the truck.

"Ahhh! There's nothing like the warmth of the morning sun!" Cassie said to herself. She was so relaxed, soaking in the golden rays, that she drifted off into a deep, deep sleep.

Mr Horse & The Mouse Called Klaus

The barnyard at Tumbledown Creek Farm was abuzz with activity and the sun was high in the sky when Mr Horse woke up late again. That was normal.

"Hmm, better have my breakfast before it's the afternoon," he thought out loud, and that was normal too.
