Written by Roddy Lee

Uncle Tim the Koala was being visited by his neice and nephew, Toma and Charlotte. And one day Toma and Charlotte were walking through the beautiful Australian Bush with their Uncle Tim.

When Charlotte saw a big red kangaroo she yelled out, "Look! Look! See that big red kangaroo!!"

Well, the big red kangaroo got scared and it hopped off into the bush.

pic Quiet In The Bush

Uncle Tim sang a song that day.

The song was called QUIET IN THE BUSH.

Quiet in the bush
Quiet in the bush
Not a whisper
Not a word
Quiet in the bush

Quiet in the bush
Quiet in the bush
Not a sound
All around
Quiet in the bush

Quiet in the bush
Quiet in the bush
Tippy toe
Where you go
Quiet in the bush

For there are creatures large and small
And if you want to see them at all
You have to be quiet in the bush

There'll be no stomping on the ground
Or fooling around
You got to be quiet in the bush

Take a moment in time
You'll be amazed at what you find
If you are quiet in the bush

After Toma and Charlotte had heard it they knew that if they wanted to see the beautiful creatures that live in the bush they had to be quiet.

Now, when Uncle Tim takes Toma and Charlotte on a bush walk, they know that they will see all of nature's beauty if they respect the environment they are in and the animals that live there.

Kids! Never go into the bush alone. Always be with an adult. Take plenty of water with you, something to eat and a jumper to keep you warm.

Another story next month.

Wake you in the Morning!
