Mrs Hen was not impressed! The chicken coop was covered with toys - toys that belonged in the toybox.

She got all her chicks together and cried, "Look at this mess, we'll never get it cleaned up." And as she spoke her wings flapped wildly and feathers filled the air.

Mrs Hen left in a huff!

The little chicks looked at each other. One little chick turned to his brothers and sisters and said, "listen up guys, I've got an idea!"

And he sang

We've got to work as a team and get on with the job
We've got to pull together as a team
Cos if we work as a team and get on with the job
We'll soon have the whole place clean

We've got to act and attack and get on with the job
We've got to pull together as a team
Cos if we act and attack and get on with the job
We'll soon have the whole place clean

How can we wait any longer
Its a reality!
Look around at the mess.
We've got to take some responsibility
We've got to do our best

We've got to work as a team and get on with the job
We've got to pull together as a team
Cos if we work as a team and get on with the job
We'll soon have the whole place clean

Cool!
Sparkling!
Ah, dustfree!
I could live with this!

If we all gave a hand
We could save the day
If we all took some responsibility
We could all join in and say

Because we worked as a team and got on with the job
We soon got the whole place clean
Sparklin!
We soon got the whole place clean

Amen!

And working as a team they soon had the chicken coop cleaned up and looking sparkling clean.

Mrs Hen returned and was delighted at the results. The little chicks had even placed flowers around the coop so that the air smelled fresh.

Mrs Hen hugged her chicks with pride.

Kids, look after your toys. Always keep them in a special safe place when you are not playing with them. That way you will always know where your favourite toys are.
